Good things to come

I apologize for my lack of blogging, the last couple of months have been very busy with family time as we have prepared for my husband to deploy.
He is gone now =( so to keep busy you can bet I'll be doing A LOT of projects.

In fact I have already completed one...
...and will finish up another quilt this week. Sorry no pictures til it has been given to its owners.

I've been reading a lot. I gave up on The Host for the second time, about halfway through this time, when I realized I truly did not care how it ended, and just assumed that somehow it works out in the end. I decided while reading it that Stephenie Meyer can sure make a book drag on needlessly, but I guess I was interested enough in the Twilight Saga to follow through. I did enjoy The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, and it was good and short, and definitely interesting to see more from the "bad vampires" perspective.
How to Train Your Dragon is just fun - though very very very different from the movie (also fun). Like the only thing they have in common is Hiccup and his dragon Toothless, not even the training of the dragons is the same. Oh well. And apparently there is a whole Hiccup series that I think we may just have to get, and I am going to look into other (more girlie books) by the author, Cressida Cowell.
And now I am onto the Hunger Games, and already quite enthralled, so I am sure I'll continue on with the series for now.
