It's really easy to follow, especially if you've ever played with the HTML on your blog before. Just read the directions and follow each step exactly and you should have no problems. And if you have a 3 column blog like I do, just keep scrolling down the page and she tells you how to include your 3rd column.
After that you of course need to do something to make your blog title pretty, if you have Photoshop you could do this way easy, and probably know how, but I don't so this is what I did...(all photos are examples from my family blog)
Open Word. =) Type the title of your blog in the font that you wish, make it bigger, center it and add a few blank lines above it. Then you'll need to get the words to the exact right color...so switch over to your web browser. While you do this you can also figure out your background color at the same time.
Go to Layout and Fonts and Colors, select the Background or Blog Title Color, whichever you want to figure out first, and it will display the color hex code in the box on the right.

My first result showed: "RGB: 255 217 217" (by the way www.colourlovers.com is a fun site where you can find color palates and all the hex codes for them, that is where I found my pink scheme.)

Then type in your RGB color code. The search results did not specify which was which, so I just typed mine in order Red Green then Blue.

To make my background, I opened up Paint, selected Colors, then Edit Colors

Thanks!! I decided I need a blog to express some of this, that my family might not always be interested in reading about.
