A Wonderful Christmas!

Christmas has come and gone, so quickly like always, after so much stress and preparations. But also like always it was a wonderful day spent with family, full of joy and laughter and love.
It was especially great to see my daughter enjoy Christmas for the first time. She was overwhelmed by all the gifts she received and has a few clear favorites, one of which is a pull around puppy by Melissa and Doug - though she has yet to figure out how to pull him around. Somehow though a little wooden dog is the greatest thing to cuddle and kiss.

I'm back to work on non-Christmas projects, which feels great!! I made a little baby blanket (I plan on making another one of these soon, so I'll put together a tutorial when I do) for a friend who is expecting the week before me...

Finished my daughter's eye-spy bag (I don't know if I'll make another but if I do, I'll put together a tutorial)...

And finally finished cutting all the fabric for my new baby's quilt. Time to start sewing....but first we are painting the nursery and trying to not spend all our Christmas money on the baby or home improvement projects.
